Woman Killed Helping Driver Following Crash on I-95

A 25-year old working her way through college and working as a West Chester University security officer, was killed while attempting to help another driver on the side of the road on I-95 in Wilmington, Delaware on Sunday morning.

Police said the accident happened around 4:15 a.m., Sunday on I-95 South near the Delaware Avenue off-ramp and the 25-year old victim, also a volunteer firefighter, stopped to help someone who had crashed and was on the side of the road.

The victim was was finishing her Criminal Justice undergraduate degree at West Chester.
