Five toddlers sustained personal injuries after falling while strapped into their highchairs, which prompted a product recall. About 40,000 highchairs sold at Walmart and manufactured by Graco were recalled after reports that five children flipped over while sitting in their chairs. The toddlers incurred bumps and bruises during the falls. Owners of the highchairs should cease using the product and contact the company for a free repair kit at 800-345-4109.
When children use defective products, they may be in danger of developing personal injuries as well as potential fatalities. Parents try their best to ensure their children are safe but may be unaware that a product is faulty until children get hurt. Companies must be responsible when producing products for children, but sometimes, may fail to correct a design flaw or manufacturing defect until it’s too late.
If you or your child sustained personal injuries while using a defective product, you may be entitled to compensation.
