Pike Creek Crash Claims Life and Causes Personal Injuries

On Thursday morning, a crash in Pike Creek, Delaware claimed the life of a 54-year-old woman from Wilmington, Delaware and injured two other individuals. Around 11:37 am, the crash occurred when an SUV exited from a stop sign and collided with the right front side of another car. A 92-year-old man sitting in the back seat of the SUV sustained personal injuries while the 23-year-old woman driving the SUV was unscathed. The 45-year-old woman from Newark, Delaware, who was driving the other vehicle, incurred non-life-threatening injuries. Although the 54-year-old woman, who was in the front passenger seat during the Pike Creek crash, received treatment at the Christiana Hospital, she succumbed to her fatal injuries.
