Lancaster County School Bus Accident Causes Multiple Injuries

A school bus accident in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania caused multiple personal injuries. Around 8 am on Tuesday morning, the accident occurred when the school bus tried to pass an oversized load, and then collided with another vehicle, which spun into the school bus. The school bus then rolled over onto its side. About 15 students, who ranged between the ages of 13 and 16, and the driver, were hospitalized, as well as the driver of the vehicle who originally left the scene of the school bus accident.

Typically, buses cause a significant number of accidents on the road, which may increase with the prevalence of school field trips and other events during the spring. Even experienced bus drivers may experience more challenges when operating a bus around smaller vehicles. If the bus driver lacks the proper training, the driver may fail to use caution when transporting commuters to their destinations, which may cause personal injuries or even fatalities.
