One Injured in School Bus Crash Fire

Philadelphia Bus Accident Lawyers discuss One Injured in School Bus Crash Fire

On Monday afternoon, a van collided with a school bus and caught fire. Around 3:30 pm, in Horsham, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, a school bus was traveling down the street when the van crashed into it and caught fire.  The van driver sustained injuries while none of the bus occupants were hurt. No information on the driver’s condition was available.

A significant amount of life-threatening injuries can occur when a bus gets into an accident with another vehicle. Since buses are larger and more cumbersome to operate than standard-size cars, drivers must have not only experience but extensive training. If they are unable to handle the vehicle with skill, they may be in danger of getting into a crash that allows for personal injuries or even fatalities.
