Eleven Hospitalized After Delaware School Bus Crash

Eleven individuals were hospitalized after a school bus and another car crashed in Felton, Delaware on Thursday afternoon. The accident occurred outside of Lake Forest High School around 2:32 pm. A 75-year-old man from Harrington, Delaware, was operating the bus and failed to come to a stop, pulling in front of a Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep, which an 18-year-old high school student drove, struck the bus on the left side. After the  accident, the student was transported to the hospital for minor injuries along with 10 school bus passengers who also suffered minor injuries. An investigation of the Delaware school bus crash will be completed, and charges may be filed.
